Artist's Description
4/24/11 ~ An original fine art photograph by Shelley Neff Design and Photography featuring the Buddy Monument World War I statue. The monument was a gift from Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Stackpole and is located at North Front and Cumberland streets in Riverfront Park (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA). The statue symbolizes an infantryman, doughboy, poised for attack and stands atop a seven-ton boulder from the base of Round Top at the Gettysburg National Military Park.
