Captured this Paperkite (Malabar Tree Nymph Butterfly) at the Butterfly Farm in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands on 2/9/10. The Malabar Tree Nymph, also known as a Paperkite, is a large butterfly found in India's forest clearings and above the forest canopy. Its larvae are known to feed on flowering plants of the dogbane family (Apocynaceae). Canon PowerShot S90, f/3.5, 1/160 sec., ISO 320, post processing in Photoshop
